Transport in Vilnius

You can use public transport, such as trolleybuses or buses in Vilnius. Alternatively, you can use taxi services or ride-sharing apps (more details below). You can also book private transfers to another town in Lithuania or transfer from the airport to the city center or another place through toseevilnius@gmail.com (for both groups and private transfers).

How to get from the airport to the city center

Vilnius Airport is relatively close to the city center, making it convenient for travelers. The distance from Vilnius Airport to the city center is approximately 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles). The drive from the airport to the city center typically takes around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

There is a bus stop Infront of the airport. Bus Number: 88 goes to the city center.

Bus tickets can be purchased from the driver upon entering the bus. It's recommended to have cash in local currency (Euros). Or install the m.ticket app on your phone to get an e-ticket. Here is an information how to use it M.TICKET

 

There is a train which goes to the Vilnius Train Station. The ticket can be bought with cash or card on the train.

You can use  taxi, car -sharing or car-hailing services.  

It's recommended to call a taxi instead of hailing one on the street if you want to pay less.
