What to do with children in Vilnius

Vilnius is a city where there are plenty of activities and entertainment options for families with children. There are places and activities that we recommend.


  1. Toy Museum in Vilnius is a family-oriented museum. Here, you can interactively explore the history of toys in Lithuania. Toys are available for hands-on experience. The museum has three thematic exhibitions: "The Oldest Lithuanian Toys," "Journey to the Stone Age," and "Memories of the 20th Century." You will find the museum in Vilnius Old Town at the address: Siltadarzio str. 2, Vilnius.

  2. Children's playground in Bernardine Garden: Beyond the St. Anne's and Bernardine Churches, the Vilnia River surrounds the most beautiful park in Vilnius called Bernardine Garden.. In this park, you will find many beautiful plants, pathways, fountains, but most importantly, children's playgrounds.

  3. Trampoline park Skypark: In a space of 1600 square meters, you will find the largest trampoline platforms in Europe, inflatable pools, and various entertainments. You can try individual trampoline fitness workouts with experienced trainers.   6. Tree climbing Uno Park: Tree climbing is an active and engaging activity suitable for all age groups; physical fitness is not necessary. Climbing starts from the easiest trails, horizontally set up in trees with ropes, tree, and anchor elements.   8. Vingis Park − located in Vilnius, along the bend of the Neris River, it is a recreational area. The area is 162 hectares.In the western part, there is a section of Vilnius University's Botanical Garden. It's a great place for walks. During the summer season, you can rent bicycles, scooters, and skateboards in the center of the park. Location

  10. The White Bridge Sports Complex: White Bridge sports field next to the bridge, which hosts 9 beach volleyball courts, 3 double-sided basketball courts, a park for roller skaters and skateboarders, outdoor training grounds and children playgrounds.

  11. The Bastion of Vilnius Defensive Wall is a museum located in the underground of the building. Originally built as a defensive fortification to protect Vilnius in the 17th century, it now operates as an excellent museum. Visitors can not only see old weapons, cannons, and explore the underground passages but also engage in interactive activities.   12. The Energy and Technology Museum, situated in the former Vilnius Power Plant, is dedicated to Lithuania's industrial heritage. This museum showcases various themes through its permanent exhibitions, such as Energetics, Vilnius industry, "Made in Vilnius," Interactive Science, "Gas in Lithuania," and "Energy of Sun and Wind."This museum is interactive and interesting for both adults and children.
